What is TRE® ?
Have you ever experienced a dog shaking when stressed out from New Year’s Eve fireworks? Or when a bird flies into a window and then just lies still for a while and then shakes? Have you ever shaken under major shock or stress? It’s all a natural response, the body helping us to release tension. By learning and practising TRE®, we are able to unlock this ancient knowledge in the body again.

TRE® is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. TRE® is designed to be a self-help tool that, once learned, can be used independently as needed throughout one’s life, thereby continuously supporting and promoting personal health and wellness. https://traumaprevention.com/

The course is facilitated by Flora Sarlos – certified TRE® provider (2024), Hatha (2020) and Women’s Yoga (2021) instructor, body centered stress relief facilitator (dance, yoga, breathing) and one of the founders of EMPOWERmental project. Flora comes from Hungary, based in Vienna, Austria
